speaking of horrors theres something happening and i dont know what it is but its pissing me off

#wind howls #i think a lot of stress from still not having a job for the summer is getting to me #i just dont know what to do.#my sisters boyfriend said to look on facebook for job offers and when i did 99.9% of them were definitely fake and scams.#i appreciate the tip but i know a bit better.... cmon man....#i guess The Rage has been getting to me a bit as well. i know thats likely the source of last nights partly trauma nightmare i had.#i sent in another application today and im worried bc its passing though an employment agency which. my last tutor said 2 avoid #but girl. im gettinf a bit desperate here. i already had a job around this time last year #and my options are limited because my mobility is limited. cant stand for long and cant drive.#and i dont have many options near my house bc its all fucking. retail jobs that get ableist real fast if you cant stand in place for long #like. from what ive heard standing up in the same spot for 8 hours is already hard for able bodied people. how am i meant 2 survive.#the few times i did that i came home crying from the pain and frankly speaking im desperate but im not THAT Desperate.#long story short. please pray that i find fucking SOMETHING this week lest i explode and start crying

Bisan is calling for another global strike!

I saw some posts just outlining Jan 21st, and wanted to clarify that Bisan has called for a full seven days of action.

What a global strike would look like is:

calling in sick to work

purchasing bare essentials ahead of the week so you can observe the general boycott of goods / buying as little as you genuinely can

putting in a concerted effort to elevate Palestinian voices and make it clear that this strike is in support of a permanent ceasefire!

For those who will have to purchase necessary goods during this time, please observe the brands that the BDS movement is asking us to boycott!

sometimes while i think about that while a lot of adults did not treat me very well as a kid i also get a lot of 'in hindsight this person was so good to me and i didnt even realize it until now' as an adult. today i was thinking about how the first anime convention i ever went to was when i was 10 and i asked the man working the manga cafe what manga was/what a good place to start was (because the con was very overstimulating for me and i had gotten lost) and he asked how old i was before recommending yotsuba and asking if i wanted any water or something to eat. its really simple but theres a lot of bad things that couldve happened or he could've been careless in his recommendation, but instead yotsuba has remained one of my favorite manga for years, and probably a large portion of why i continue to read manga as an adult... i think adults who try to involve kids in the world safely/kindly even in little ways make so much more of a difference than they ever really know.

#and i know that sounds silly like YES. it was just a bookr ecommendation #but i feel like a lot of people either dont really care about whats a good starting point for younger kids in their shared fan spaces #or dont really take the care to recognize different peoples ages would effect what they would both enjoy or #be capable of engaging with #not to mention theres a lot of manga that would NOT have been appropriate for a 10 year old to read #so the fact that he askedd and even asked what sort of thing i liked at the time #was very sweet. i think about him a lot and i hope hes doing well #txt #scratchpost

the one thing i wish is that Ladybug and Chat Noir had reasons to go "undercover" places. as civilians. where they are both staking out the same location but don't know each other's identities so it's always a disaster. they either get distracted because adrien and marinette bump into each other in strange places and end up having long awkward conversations instead of working, or, in adrienette-never-met sort of AUs, somehow end up suspecting each other every time. one time adrien disguises himself as a woman because he can't risk being seen as Adrien Agreste™ and marinette thinks she's met The Most Beautiful Woman in the World and has a bi panic until she finds out it was Chat fucking Noir and she's fucking pissed
